The Story

An ancient legend has it that Castle Raphael was once a mere Roman castrum, but of this unfortunately there is still no historical certainty. What we do know for certain is that after the discovery of its ancient remains, the visionary new owner decided to breathe new life into this Castle and transform it into an elegant retreat elevated to a Suite.

Today the Castle is a magical place to hold incredible receptions.
In the two reception halls, one with a capacity of 250 and one with a capacity of 140 people, we welcome events of all kinds, celebrating love, affection and friendship.

The green surroundings of the castle’s two hectares of parkland, including holm oaks, olive trees, cypresses and Mediterranean plants, are a warm and hospitable environment for all ages.

The Castle

The Castle is a unique Fairy Tale structure, The ancient medieval central tower blending harmoniously among the pristine landscape of the Roman countryside, on either side of the Suite the two Spires rising to the sky as if in an embrace.

Walking along the avenue of olive trees among plants and flowers of various colors, it is there that Armoniosa, Panoramic and hidden, the great staircase of the Castle is born. The stone vases surrounding it complement its striking beauty and unmistakable elegance. It overlooks a park with numerous trees and a romantic secret garden surrounded by centuries-old Olive Trees, Holm Oaks, Cork Trees, Magnolias, Lime Trees and Liquid Amber that give the surroundings a different color in every season of the year.

The Villa of Bacchus

The wedding comes from the ceremony, and it is here that vows are exchanged….it is possible to realize this dream in a fairy-tale American-style setting under a starry sky in the setting of a medieval tower.

Inside there is a space with three rooms and a terrace with a majestic open-air crystal chandelier in Florentine art empire style, precious marbles in a unique atmosphere…An entrance arch decorated with numerous floral elements in stone and white marble …and here the dream begins.

The Suite

An Unforgettable Experience in the Heart of Castle Raphael

Large bright windows taken care of in every detail the 60 sqm suite is a sweet and romantic landing place . The suite, with a view of the pool, has a couples sensory shower with whirlpool tub and music. Silk sheets and fine fabric curtains make it the ideal nest for a dreamy night’s sleep, but also the most convenient solution for getting ready before the ceremony and taking unforgettable souvenir photos, In a magical and also enchanted place.

The Park

The vast grounds of Castle Raphael offer a magnificent expanse of green meadows, where nature unfolds in all its majesty. This large open space invites visitors and guests to explore, relax, and connect with the natural surroundings. The Secret Garden

Castle Raphael’s Secret Garden is a true hidden gem, a small oasis of tranquility and refined beauty, jealously guarded within the castle’s historic walls. This private space is an ideal place for those seeking a quiet retreat or wishing to hold small ceremonies in an intimate and controlled environment. The high stone walls surrounding the garden provide privacy and create an atmosphere of exclusivity and isolation from the rest of the world, making it a perfect place for moments of reflection or special celebrations. The garden’s winding paths guide steps through enchanted scenery: from gently murmuring fountains, creating a soothing background sound, to seats tucked away under towering wisteria vaults, where one can sit and be enveloped in the scents and colors of nature.

Mermaid Fountain

Fountains have always symbolized an inexhaustible symbol of good fortune and happiness . Within the secret garden arises ” the mermaid fountain ” an octagonal architectural complex made of travertine marble created by artist Mario Zanna on top of which is placed a young woman in bronze the work draws its inspiration of the Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale of the same name.

The Fountain Of Kisses

The setting of the central park is dominated by a stone fountain, the construction was commissioned by the present owner, who found many years later the same craftsman who built the Castle many but many years earlier, this is evidenced by the elements of the 2 particular red tufa mosaic spires of the castle perfectly matching with the architecture of the fountain, this reminds us of history with the present.

Today an ideal place for an outdoor aperitif, a natural space that preserves a play of colors at sunset, dominated by hedges of Jasmine, shiny Viburnum Photinias and Laurel .

The Pool

This rectangular structure stretches lengthwise in front and outside the ballroom surrounded by arches and rocks and decorated in travertine marble has 3 water descents its Renaissance style gives the castle an impeccable touch of class and sophistication

The Party Room

The Salone delle Feste, represents the heart of the castle, large and rectangular in shape with no central pillars, it takes the length and width of the entire castle, fully decorated with stucco and Lesene, huge Empire-style Florentine Chandeliers and a 19th-century white marble fireplace, accommodates up to 200 people. This large room opens frontally onto a 500-square-meter terrace and a swimming pool. The Salon features a fine granite floor and large, ornate white marble centered windows that make the space constantly lit and functional for any type of display. The Party Room stands out for its originality and modernity thanks to atmospheric modern lighting
This space allows for splendid views from both sides.
